The Hub of the Home

Here is the hub of our home...the kitchen table. It sits at one end of the kitchen, but we do have to walk by it to get from one room to another.
This set is made of oak, it may be red oak. I got it from my parents about 25 years ago. It was a spare one they had and I needed a table and chairs, so they gave it to me and my kids. It is a treasure to me, as it has had many fmaily gatherings take place around it.
