This drawing was done by my greatgrandfather, John Prentiss Chapman Reeves in 1946 on my dad's side. My mom brought it to me when she came to visit this last time. I was so very exited to get it because my grandmother had shown me some of his drawings of birds about 16 years ago and then I never knew what happened to them. I still don't know where they are, but at least the one came to me. It has actually been photocopied, then draw over with a marker pen. This is probably done by my grandmother.I am happy as a 'lark' to at least have a copy of one of his drawings. He was also a penmanship teacher as a profession back in the early 1900's. I have a picture of him with one of his classes next to the old school house.

can you trace the design and make an embroidered piece? That would be neat to do.
