- Married to a great guy, Tim, mother of four grown children, grandmother of 7. I have a home filled with antiques & vintage goods. I love to create in my studio, but these days it is on the back burner while I work on genealogy. I have an have an old-fashioned Mercantile (my studio) in my home, where I can display all the treasures I have amassed over the years and open it up to ladies gatherings. Those gatherings would include teas, crafting days, quiltings, bible studies. I feel this would fill a need that goes unmet in today's world. We gals need to be able to share our lives, pray with each other as well as encourage each other.

Just discovered your blog and happy to see that we both have an interest in our ancestors stories. I have used several on my blog. Just visited great-grandmothers gravesite this week. Hadn't known where she was buried until just the last year. Your blog is lovely and I'll be returning often. Thanks, Judy
