Vintage Barn Vendors Tea
This tea is put on by Rolaine Hopper of The Vintage Barn Antique Sale, held in Rathdrum, Idaho. She and Sharon did a great job of displaying food and setting up the yard. There were three of us who did demos on what we make. So we leanred how to make a birds nest, a glass glitter crown, and a paper tape mannequin. So fun. Nice to see old friends and meet some new ones. Looking forward to the show being a great success.
Pretty plates
This old rack held the dishes we used for our food at the vendor tea today. There were a variety of plates, cup and saucers to choose from...all vintage, of course.
View from the steps
This is what you see when going up the steps into Rolaine's farm house...all set up for her vendors. Nice job!
Scoops o' Fun
Pink-was the color of the day...with pink napkins and these darling party hats turned into carmel corn holders.
Good food
Oh people-I could have sat down with this bowl of cream cheese dip and eaten nothin' else. (I think it had caramel in it as well.) Alas, I saved some for the other guests.
So serious
What is up with this look?...I say to myself. I must have been in deep thought. The vendors came up to visit with me about my crowns, that was so nice. I sold the demo crowns I had brought with me. Maybe I will make some more after all.

Farm Chicks
Stood in line for just about an hour to get in to this year's show stopping event. The first 1/2 hour was easy shopping, then it got pretty crowded trying to manuver with my granny cart. So I stayed all day so I could get a good look at everything. The crowds did dissapate in the late afternoon, so this gave me a chance to make my way through the booths with my trusty cart. I even did some bargaining with the vendors then to get some better deals. This made me happy!
Wood Boxes
Amazing what you can do with some old wood boxes, huh? Years ago I had a bunch old fruit boxes like these and they were so versatile. Had to move off and leave them in California, drat! This booth is Tarte.
Coffee Grinder
I want one of these, but am not sure I can pay a high price...so I will wait and see what I can find. Plus I took this photo so I could come back to it, then forgot where it was. So it might have sold since I did not see it again. I did go around to the booths about three or four times each and saw different stuff each time. How does that happen?
Me at Farm Chicks
The Farm Chicks had a photo op booth at the front entrance...great idea...me thinks! So here I am. Got a stranger to take this shot for me.
Loved the pennants with a message.
