Never in all my days...

have I been to a show that opened in prayer! I was so excited about this feature. It was amazing and I am so proud of these gals for having the boldness to do this...we need more of this in our world today, right? Hallelujah sister!

Corner of my booth

The wind kinda disheveled things a bit before I shot this...but you can get the idea. I made up 16 new crowns for this event. I fianlly had a die made to help me cut them out easier...it is a real time saver, not to mention saving my sanity, what there is left of that!
The Crowns will be featured a couple of places soon, so watch for future post about them and how to get one for you and yours.

She had lots of 'em and other stuff too. Love the little cabin she rents on the farm for the show...it even has a floor!

Not really, this machine was for sewing leather...I think for making saddles.

Oh boy, did I love these guys and their music. I love blue grass and their's was the bestest. They are a Christian band, too! Makes 'em even better in my book. I will be getting their CD.

Mennonite Bakers

These ladies know how to do it right...baking is their claim to fame for good reason. I scored a round platter of maple drizzled twists in exchange for an apron in my booth. Nice ladies, too! So sweet and lady-like (as my momma used to say).

Yep, this is the bleachers for watching the bands play...only in the country! (This was pre-opening-as they filled up fast once the gate was opened and the band began to play some of the best blue grass around.

Yeah, it's me...lookin' kinda frumpy here, oh yeah, I am kinda frumpy, what was I thinkin'? In the back corner of my booth waitin' for customers to walk up the hill after the opening cow-bell ringing.

Vintage Barn Vendors Tea

This tea is put on by Rolaine Hopper of The Vintage Barn Antique Sale, held in Rathdrum, Idaho. She and Sharon did a great job of displaying food and setting up the yard. There were three of us who did demos on what we make. So we leanred how to make a birds nest, a glass glitter crown, and a paper tape mannequin. So fun. Nice to see old friends and meet some new ones. Looking forward to the show being a great success.
