Mama and three of her babies
Brennah, 26 (almost 27), Tyler, (almost 30), Pamela (old enough), Sarah, 31. Zach, 25, moved to California this past summer and could not get back for Christmas...this was very sad for me.
Family Photo
Here we are-Christmas 2009-pretty good lookin' group. Missin' my baby boy, Zach, though. He did not make it home, after all.
Sugar Cookie Time
The advent for this day was to make sugar cookies for Santa (Papa). So Noah got it started off with his. The recipe I use is a really good one, the cookies are really soft-the only way to eat a sugar cookie!
Neptune's Birthday Party
Brennah had a 5th year birthday party at her house for her beloved dog, Neptune-these were the party guests.
Rejoice!
Noah shows a finished craft project that all of the kids made. This was one of the advent activitites. Sarah wrote an article on how she does the advent with her children and it was published on the M.O.P.S. website.
Guess what's next??
If you guessed gingerbread houses, you are right! This has been a tradition for my children growing up and Sarah has kept the tradition going with her children. Since Ed and Sarah were in NYC, Brennah and I made them with the kids.
Mrs.Claus Makes Pancakes
I love this Santa apron. Thought it was fun to wear whenever I was in the kitchen over the Christmas Season. Here I am with a stack of pancakes ready for the grandkids to come upstairs for breakfast.
Cowboy Up!
Isaac found some of the cowboy attire in the kids room and immediately dressed up. I did the kids room in a cowboy/frontier/pioneer style, with real traps, horse tack, etc.
Three men
Uncle Tyler with Elijah and Isaac on the day they arrived from week of traveling to get here from Alaska. They really like wrestling with him. He is a good uncle.
Nice Puppy
Isaac loves to dress up, so I found this darlin' puppy costume recently and gave it to him for Christmas. He went around as a dog for quite sometime that day.
The Arsenol
Check out this arsenol of guns and swords made in Tim's shop with the help of Noah, Poppy and Aneesah. They made these for the two littlest guys, Eli and Isaac.
Noah
Noah is looking at the guitar book we got him for Christmas...this is a great book for an inspiring guitarist.
Scarey
Boy can Isaac give a scarey look when he wants to. Here he poses with one of the guns made in the shop in the week before Christmas, by papa and the older grandchildren.
Isaac & Ed
Look at that hair! Isn't it great? Hot cocoa was in order after that cold walk on the boardwalk. This is my youngest grandson, Isaac and his daddy, Ed.
Two cuties
Elijah and his Auntie Brennah sitting in the resort waiting for our turn to get a table at Dockside. We waited for an hour and a half to get dessert.
Kids & Moose
Back row-left to right-Aneesa, 13, Ameenah, 17, the moose, age unknown. Front row, left to right-Elijah, 7, Isaac, 5, Noah, 12, Ameen (Poppy), 13.
Sarah & Ed & Moose
Here is our oldest daughter, Sarah and her husband, Ed with the moose on the boardwalk. They had just spend a few days in NYC and had a blast! We had the kids while they were gone. Fun for everyone!
