Here is my contribution for the Makedo contest that was on MaryJanesFarm forum. I had to leave for Alaska in a rush so I did not get to finish this and enter it in the contest. I went into my studio today and decided it was about time I finished it. So here it is. Better late than never!
Anyhooo...I got the base at the thrift shop I volunteer in. I believe it was a candle holder in it's former life. I made puffballs covering them with old looking fabrics, attached them, added fringe and wallahh! Now it will hold pins and needles. It stands at about 18" tall. I think it has a late 1800's look to it.
